Adolpho Ducke Botanical Garden of Manaus was founded in 2000 and is situated on 500 hectares of primary forest land at the edge of the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve, east of Manaus. It is administered through a partnership between the INPA (National Institute for Amazon Research), the Municipality of Manaus and MUSA (Museum of the Amazon), and have the support of CNPq (National Council for Scientific Research) of FAPEAM (Research Foundation of the State of Amazonas), among other institutions.

JB Manaus has a collection of live plants spread over more than 3 km of trails, a library, a nursery for donation, an amphitheater, and moment, an educational exhibition pavilion. Can still be visited theme gardens (Palmeiras, aroids, Heliconias), track and Agroforestry nursery Orchids and Bromeliads. Soon an artificial lake will bring a representation of aquatic macrophytes in Amazonia.
